At the risk of dragging you back into areas that have already been addressed and discussed, I would like to insert a few thoughts which may lend even greater urgency to our tasks.
ACT 1: The Current Situation
Nearly 100 years after the introduction of the insights into the nature of the social organism, we once again stand at a moment where a new window of opportunity is opening for the implementation of the ideas of a threefold social order.
Where? On the periphery, in the Philippines, with the Philippinos and “Nicky” as its spearhead.
We are assembled, primarily in spirit, to seize this opportunity and help usher in this vital ingredient necessary for future evolution.
We ask ourselves, I can´t vote directly, so what can I do sitting here in another corner of the world? What do we have to offer?
One thing we have in general in the privileged world, that is in shorter supply in Nicky territory, is money. Money, the means to allow things to happen in earthly affairs.
To pool our efforts and ideas towards the collection of donations in our countries,
this folks! is what I hold to be the start-up reason for our assembly at this particular moment in time. This I believe should constitute Act 1 of our efforts.
Time is of the essence
In 3 weeks time no further foreign donations will be accepted on the basis of law.
After which time we will have one less avenue with which to work through.
Later, if the campaign is crippled by lack of financial means, we will largely only be able to look on helplessly.
Something to keep in perspective: A $50 donation by a teacher in Europe, which comparable to their means, would be equivalent to maybe 30 or 40 philippino teachers making a donation. So 2 or 3 Europeans or 100 Philippinos making a donation?
Fundraising Begin Strategy
Briefly, I see the process like this.
Typically, first one is presented with a cause or an idea. One feels favorable towards it. You read or someone speaks to you enthusiastically and convincingly about it, one reflects on it and gradually the idea incarnates and takes its grip and place in ones worldview. Later, one begins to speak about it hesitantly. Still later one expands on it and one feels eventually one can stand behind it. And so forth, and so forth.
But, my dear friends, generally by the time one comes to the point where one would actually donate money to support an idea this takes some time!
So considering our enormous limitation of time, we must begin with what we have. I believe we must start or continue to pursue those who, for example, know what societal threefolding is.
Let us first storm the anthroposophical circles, the Waldorf communities and Christian Community churches that we haven´t already and any places where anthroposophists are to be found.
To all those living in a privileged corner of the world, let us get all engines firing and directed for these first 3 weeks or last three weeks on the raising of funds.

This is a very important email going out to most of my friends, family and contacts from Kaos PIlots, Centre for Social Innovation and the Presencing Community. Please take the time to read. At heart, it concerns a growing movement towards Integral Sustainable Development in the world:
Nicanor Perlas, one of my mentors, a friend and colleague of Otto Scharmer, recipient of the Right Livelihood Award and 2010 presidential candidate of the Philippines has a serious chance of winning in the coming Filipino elections.
He recently gave this interview I am forwarding to you all, two days ago.
It is very exciting to know he has been requalified by COMELEC after a serious and legal revision of their decision due in most part to the global outcry of protest from 60 countries and 2000+ people.
The Green Party in Australia, in France and David Suzuki among other prominent people, signed the petition in support of his re-qualification as viable candidate.
A historic moment forward for New Politics!
This is the most comprehensive recent interview to date, spanning a range of topics, some of which highlight the history in the Philippines with People Power 1 & 2, to what is unique about Nicanor as candidate, his ideas on educational reform based on multiple-intelligence schooling, the implementation of tri-sectoral partnerships (on which he wrote a book "Shaping Globalization" and advised the UN's Millenium Development Goals) to ecological renewal and systemic solutions to systemic problems.
Nicanor, an agricultural scientist, has a grasp of both the statistics and spirit of his country and the science he uses to address climate change are riveting, easy to understand and deeply informative.

2. Support Nicanor Perlas and Social Threefolding
Dear Friends and Co-workers.
Please find below and attached a letter seeking support for the presidential campaign of Nicanor Perlas in the Philippines.
As you are probably aware, he has been re-instated as one of 10 presidential candidates after a successful global campaign against his disqualification as a “nuisance candidate.” The campaign was signed by the likes of David Suzuki and the Green Party in France and Australia.
He now moves into the campaign with significant momentum, and with financial support he has a very real chance at success.
He can receive international donations only until February 8. After this time, all donations must come from within the Philippines.
Because of this tight time-frame, please let us know as soon as possible if you would be willing to put your name to this letter. We'd like to add the initiative/position you work with in brackets after your name (please let us know if you'd prefer us not to do so). We already have a number of other signatories. This letter is also being sent to leaders and initiative takers of all ages all around the world. We plan to send the letter to all General Secretaries for distribution to society members, as well as to all Section Leaders. We also plan to put it in Das Goetheanum.

As you may know, Nicanor Perlas has been working in the world out of Rudolf Steiner’s ideas on Social Threefolding for many years. He has been a recipient of the Right Livelihood Award (Alternative Nobel Prize) for his advocacy work on globalisation and sustainable development, as well as the UN Environmental Program’s Global 500 Award, amongst others. His campaign for president of the Philippines is an opportunity for these ideas to be practiced in the world on a large and visible scale.
He is now one of only ten presidential candidates, and with support he has a very real chance at success.
His team needs $130,000US before February 8 in order to continue successfully carrying out the campaign. International donations can only be accepted before February 8. After that time, all donations must come from inside the Philippines.
