Profile
I am a passionate person who is firmly committed to community. Without community, the greatest ideas have no place to live and end-up evaporating into the ethers. I am a so-called "Waldorf Lifer" who decreed at age four to become a Waldorf teacher, and so I completed my training at age twenty-three. I majored in English with an emphasis in American Literature and currently living in Pennsylvania at Camphill Soltane.

Biography:
I was born years ago in the middle of a blizzard and I came out into the world determined to be, and do, something different. I went through lower school thinking, I will be a teacher. I went through high school thinking, I want to change the world. I then became a teacher and I thought that I would start that, but the twists and turns of life have led me down a new, wholly unexpected path of challenging myself and growing, pushing, asking, asking, asking. I seem to always be asking, always be contemplating. I write. I work. I have questions. I believe that the potential of the human being is unfathomably powerful and that few of us know, or do, tap into that possibility. So how do we do it? How do I do it?
Favorite Music:
I love music. I love music that speaks to my heart, and so I choose music based on what my heart needs to feel or want to feel. Music is a feeling, it is a soul language.
Favorite Books:
I am an avid reader. I love dark, intelligent fiction with real characters. I love slightly fantastical or uncanny works, and am particularly drawn to ethnic work. I am always interested in reading the classics, but never quite get it done. I read Kate Christensen, Haruki Murakami, Louise Erdrich; I read historical fiction, I read biographies, poetry, books on leadership, sustainability and the human potential. I read Paul Hawkens, Tich Nat Hanh, Frances Moore Lappe. I even read Dan Brown. Everything can inspire questions.
